1.  First of all,  Open a ‘New Text Document’(Start  > Accessories > Notepad)

2. NOW SAVEAS FILE NAME XP GENUINE.REG

Here, In place of XP GENUINE you may write and give any name of your choice but the main and important things to remember when saving this Registry file are given below: -

(1) Save the file name with .REG extension because this file is related to Registry and if you don’t save it with .REG then it is not going to work any more, So be careful.

(2) Change the’ Save as’ Type from Text Documents (*.txt) to ‘All files’  because it’s not any ordinary Notepad file so you have to save it as All Files type.

3. After saving this Registry file, Just open this with Registry editor and your registry will be edited automatically, accordingly making your windows XP genuine forever. (If it prompts for a confirmation to edit the registry, then simple choose and click on YES).

Now you have done all things!
